CLEVELAND WEIGHTLIFTING

Open to ALL athletes, Cleveland Weightlifting houses our competitive weightlifting team. Depending on the day, this is a one to two hour session that focuses primarily on practicing and improving technical execution of the snatch, clean & jerk and related lifts. Only Olympic-style and auxiliary lifts will be practiced at this time. Individuals with little or no prior experience with the Olympic-style lifts will be encouraged to attend private coaching sessions if training and technical work is beyond what can be accomplished during the club time.
Club Fees:
  • Drop-in – $25 per visit
  • 1-month Membership and Individualized Program – $149.99 per month

Programming varies and is done for the club as a whole, with the exception of needed modifications for individual athletes. If you wish to have an individualized program this can be accommodated, for more details contact us.
Please arrive early to warm-up, mobilize, and gear-up before class. In each class, athletes can expect to snatch, clean & jerk, perform dynamic pulling drills, perform upper body strength and/or dynamic work, perform squats for strength and/or speed.


Private Coaching
Cleveland Weightlifting offers private coaching for athletes interested in general fitness, strength/goal specific fitness, and increased sporting capacity using both classic Olympic-style weightlifting and CrossFit inspired methodology.
Is Private Coaching Right For Me?
If you are a person who:
  • has very specific goals for his/her sport, competition or event;
  • has very specific body composition goals;
  • would like to gain a better understanding, efficiency and coordination with the snatch, clean & jerk and other related lifts;
  • has had no previous exercise experience and has been largely sedentary;
  • has had considerable orthopedic concerns such as those from injury or recent/past surgeries;
  • enjoys the accountability and attention received from working with a coach one-on-one

Remote Coaching Private Coaching 
The ability to be able to drive home good movement patterns and have consistent feedback to stay on track is important. If you are looking for a coach to help with individualized programming or video review, Cleveland Weightlifting offers remote coaching.
Is Remote Coaching Right For Me?
If you are a person who:
  • cannot locate an Olympic-style weightlifting coach local to you;
  • has very specific athletic or weightlifting goals;
  • would like individualized programming for Olympic-style weightlifting or weightlifting biased strength & conditioning;
  • would like to gain a better understanding, efficiency and coordination with the snatch, clean & jerk and other related lifts;
  • would like programming supplementation to work around orthopedic concerns such as those from injury or recent/past surgeries;
  • enjoys the accountability and attention received from working with a coach
